With our 120 hour TEFL course we believe that getting out and working, coupled with theory and classroom study, is the best way to learn. Our TEFL course includes 20 hours “learn by doing” fully paid teaching practice to real students. No other school in Asia offers this amount of real teaching. This, coupled with our classroom training delivered by our experienced and fully qualified TEFL teachers, will provide you with the ideal platform to begin teaching to non native speakers of English anywhere in the world. Unlike many other TEFL programs, Freedom dedicates a large portion of the course to teaching children.

The course includes 25 hours of techniques for teaching children and also 20 hours of real, paid teaching to children in Goan schools. 50% of global TEFL job offers involve teaching children. The majority of TEFL programs, including the CELTA, cover this topic briefly, if at all. We do not disregard this aspect.

As a result of this lack of a significant teaching children section in the original CELTA program, many CELTA providers are now offering additional younger learner certificate courses for an additional 380 Euros on top of the 1350 Euros standard course price. CELTA stands for Certificate of English Language Teaching of Adults. Freedom also devotes a considerable amount of time towards teaching business English to professionals, a total of 25 hours of the program.

Each student will be paid upon completion of the 20 hours real teaching practice. No other school in Asia provides paid practice as part of the programme, and the rate of pay is approximately 4 times the average local wage for teachers.
